Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, and Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 220/110/20 kV Substation (SS) at Jalalabad Shaikh Mesri

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has applied for a grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Energy Supply Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 4 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the contract named above. No nationality restrictions apply.

The National Procurement Authority on behalf of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) (“the Employer”) invites sealed Bids for a turnkey contract: Procurement of Plant, Design, Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of 220/110/20 kV Substation (SS) at Jalalabad Shaikh Mesri. The transmission system and associated substation will be designed and constructed for double circuit transmission arrangement and will be connected to 220/110/20kV substations at Jalalabad Shaikh Mesri. The Contractor will be responsible for each activity required to complete the facilities such as design, manufacture, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, and required civil and electromechanical works portions. Completion time for construction period is 900 days.
