Item Description:
CERN intends to place a contract for the supply of five 12 meters long (40ft) marine containers mechanically modified for the housing of the new storage capacitors of the POwer of the Proton Synchrotron (POPS) power converters, for a weight of around 14 tons.
Interested firms or group of firms shall have proven competence, experience and adequate production capacity in the field(s) of design and mechanical modification of marine container of 12mt length.
