Civil Works for Solomon Islands USP Campus Expansion

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The University of the South Pacific has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Green Climate Fund toward the cost of the Higher Education in the Pacific Investment Program Tranche 2. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The University of the South Pacific (the Employer) invites sealed bids for the Civil Works for Solomon Islands USP Campus Expansion (the Works). The Construction period is 23 months.

This Scope of Work comprises the construction of three (3) multi-level buildings, including the supply of all building materials, delivery to site, off-loading, storage, labour, construction and supervision of the New Campus for the University of the South Pacific, Honiara, Solomon Islands, plus external landscaping and internal fit-outs, all system fit-outs carparks and a solar PV system with all relevant equipment and associated equipment services in accordance with the documents comprising the contract.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
