Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of India (hereinafter called “Borrower”) received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of SASEC Road Connectivity Investment Program (SRCIP) Tranche 1. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Public Works Department, Manipur (“the Employer”), invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Imphal Kangchup Tamenglong Road – Section IIA (Package 1) and Section IIB (Package 2), as detailed in the attached Invitation for Bids.
