Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Kingdom of Cambodia has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Fourth Greater Mekong Subregion Corridor Towns Development Project. A portion of this financing will be applied for eligible payments under the contract named above. The bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) (“the Employer”) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract package (“the Works”): Kampong Cham Wastewater and Drainage Subproject.
The Works include:
- Sewage collection network primary, secondary and tertiary sewer pipes, manholes and house service connections pipework.
- Sewage Network Pump Stations to collect sewage flows from the sewer network and then to the WWTP
- WWTP of 5,000 m3/d capacity, the land has been used for about 2.15 ha for the main WWTP area (filled in area), about 3.75 ha for the wetland zone 1 and 2 and 1 ha for the drainage corridor around the wetland zone 1-2. The remaining about 4.5 ha of the total WWTP area is used for the natural wetland zone 3, which is also functioning as a natural retention reservoir.
- Storm Drainage system includes primary RCU drains, box drains, trapezoidal drain, pipes, manholes and outlet structure.
- Drainage Pump Station to collect storm water from the catchments, WWTP treated effluent and wetland area.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
