The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The of Republic Uzbekistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Western Uzbekistan Water Supply System Development Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The ADB Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of JSC Uzsuvta’minot on behalf of the Qoraqalpoq Suv Ta’minoti LLC (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from the eligible bidders for the construction and completion of the Water Supply System Improvement in Karauzak District (“the Works”). It is estimated that the construction works will be completed within 540 days.
Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
