Construction of a New WTP and Raw Water Source Development in Svay Rieng

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Urban Water Supply Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, Cambodia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of new conventional water treatment plant (WTP) with nominal capacity of 9,000 m3 per day including appurtenances coagulations, flocculation’s, sedimentation tanks pre & post chlorination, filter tanks, backwash and by water and air scouring system, and sludge drying bed; electrical switch gear and valves/fittings, as well as raw water intake chamber and pumping station with capacity of 11,000m3/day conveyed through DN300 HDPE raw water pipe to headworks (WTP) and distribution pump station for treated water piping to transfer to existing underground tank and distribution pipelines.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
