Provision of Accident risk insurance

Item Description:

The European Commission, Office for the Administration and Payment of Individual Entitlements (PMO) referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Subject of this contract

Insurance contract covering risk of accidents, work-related illness and natural death of civil servants, temporary staff, contract staff and accredited parliamentary assistants. To cover, in accordance with Article 73 of the Staff Regulations for Officials of the European Union, and Articles 28, 95 and 135 of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union, the financial consequences borne by the institutions, bodies and agencies following accidents and work-related illnesses of the insured persons.Contract for insurance covering accident risk for the spouse or registered partners, children and other dependants of officials, temporary or contract staff serving in a non-EU country. To cover, in accordance with Article 25 of Annex X to the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union, the financial consequences borne by the institutions, bodies and agencies following accidents involving the insured persons.

Lot 1: Risks of accidents

Insurance covering risk of accidents, work-related illness and natural death of civil servants, temporary staff and contract staff at the European Union institutions, bodies and agencies.

Lot 2: Accidents of spouses

Insurance covering accident risk for the spouse, children and other dependants of officials, temporary or contract staff serving in a non-EU country.
