Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northern Central Provinces Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Project Management Units of Nghe An Provincial Departments of Planning and Investment invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the works consisting of (i) construction of district road 349, Anh Son district, L = 7,987.32m (from Dinh Son km0 – Cay Khe junction km7+987.32); and two new bridges: (ii) Dong Dau bridge at Km2+108.26 and (ii) Khe San bridge at Km5+826.03 The contract will be completed in 18 months.
National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
