Construction of cold chain stores in Bukhara region

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals for Services (“RFPS”) is to invite proposals for construction of Bukhara regional prefabricated cold chain storage warehouses that will host Walk-in-Cold Room (WIC).

Submission Deadline. The deadline for submission of proposals is as follows:

18:00 May 16, 2019

Any proposals received by UNICEF after the Submission Deadline will be rejected.
