Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Kingdom of Cambodia has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Fourth Greater Mekong Subregion Corridor Towns Development Project. A portion of this financing will be applied for eligible payments under the contract named above. The bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) (“the Employer”) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract package (“the Works”): Construction of Kampong Cham Solid Waste Management.
The Works include:
- Upgrading of 2,218 meters of the external access road to the landfill site to be above flood levels.
- Construction of one controlled landfill cell out of a total of three cells.
- Construction of one hazardous waste landfill cell.
- Construction of a non-mechanical type material recovery facility (MRF).
- Construction of a covered compost processing facility.
- Construction of drainage, leachate collection, treatment, and recirculation system.
- Construction of weighbridge, office, staff dining and restroom (combined building).
- Construction of workshop, electrical and mechanical room
- Construction of a supply building.
- Construction of 1,244 meters of concrete internal roads, with associated bunds and
- drainage.
- Construction of wire mesh fencing, brick entrance wall, gate and security guardhouse.
- Construction of car/vehicle washing facility.
- Construction of hazardous waste storage building.
- Provision of utilities, including the construction of a grid-tied solar system.
- Provision of operations and maintenance (O&M) equipment (separate from the landfill project).
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
