Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation Port Access Elevated Highway. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Road Development Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction and Completion of Proposed Maritime Facilitation Center for Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
The Scope of the Work comprises but not limited to the following:
- Detailed Designs and Construction Works of the proposed Maritime Facilitation Centre Building excluding piling.
- Pile caps and supporting structures such as garbage collection center, security huts, boundary walls etc. including Mechanical, Electrical, Water supply, IT services which are required to successfully complete and deliver a fully functional building.
Open Competitive Bidding – international advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
