Invitation for Bids

The Government of Nepal has received loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Urban Water Supply and Sanitation (Sector) Project (UWSSP). Part of this financing will be used payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Project Management Office, Urban Water Supply and Sanitation (Sector) Project (UWSSP), Department of Water Supply and Sewerage management, Ministry of Water Supply (“the Employer”) invites electronic bids from eligible Bidders for the scope of works described hereunder:

Stage- 1: Deep Tube Wells, Treatment Plants, Generator House, Over Head Tank, Valve Chambers, Pump House, Pipe and fittings procurement and laying, Fire Hydrant, Household connections, Electro-mechanical installation including SCADA. The construction period is two (2) years from the date of issuing of the work order.

Stage- 2: Operations and Maintenance of the Water Supply and Sanitation Component is one (1) year.

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two-Envelope envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
