Item Description:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

India (hereinafter called “Borrower) has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Himachal Pradesh Rural Drinking Water Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Jal Shakti Vibhag, Mandi Himachal Pradesh, India on the behalf of Government of Himachal Pradesh (“the Employer”) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the design, execution, completion and operation and maintenance for a period of five years of CW- MZ02: Civil works (WS) – District Mandi (Package-1) under package named above.

Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
