Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, T esting, Commissioning and O&M of 160 MW of Solar Power Generating System (SPGS) ranging from 250 kW to 2 MW at various sub-stations/locations in State of Maharashtra, India.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Scaling Up Demand Side Energy Efficiency Sector Project. Part of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. (EESL) (Employer) now invites online Bids from eligible Bidders for the following:

“Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing, Commissioning and O&M of 160 MW of Solar Power Generating System (SPGS) ranging from 250 kW to 2 MW at various sub-stations/locations in State of Maharashtra, India.”

The detailed scope of work for above packages is described in the Bidding Documents.

3. Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

4. The complete Bidding Documents including tender drawings shall be available for inspection and downloading at EESL’s website https://eesl.eproc.in (hereinafter referred to as the ‘portal’) from 1700 Hrs. on 24 December 2018 up to 1300 Hrs. on 7 February 2019. A Pre- Bid conference will be held on 14 January 2019 at 1130 Hrs. (IST) at the office of EESL mentioned at para 12.0 below.
