Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from ADB toward the cost of Issyk-Kul Wastewater Management Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Development under the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Public Utilities under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply and Installation of Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Karakol with production capacity 12,000 m3 / day (“Facilities”).
The contract is expected to be completed within 730 days from the Effective Date.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
