Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of Nepal has applied for financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Power System Expansion Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract package named above. No nationality restrictions apply other than any restriction arising from ITB 4.7.
The Nepal Electricity Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of 220kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) in Matatirtha, Kathmandu and 220kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) in Markichowk, Marsyangdi (“the Facilities”).
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders without nationality restrictions.
