Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ghorahi-Khungri (Madichaur) 132 kV Transmission Line and associated Substations at Khungri and Ghorahi

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Nepal has applied for financing from ADB toward the cost of Electricity Grid Modernization Project. Part of the loan will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ghorahi – Khungri (Madichaur) 132 kV Transmission Line and associated Substations at Khungri in Rolpa District and Ghorahi in Dang District, Nepal.

Open Competitive Bidding (international advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
