Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of UVC Air-Borne Disinfection System for Air Handling Units at ADB HQ

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), a multilateral development finance institution headquartered in Manila, Philippines, wishes to receive bids for the provision of Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of UVC Air-Borne Disinfection System for Air Handling Units at ADB HQ (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).

The Services shall cover the provision of the equipment and deployment of skilled personnel, related tools, transportation, materials and supervision in accordance with the policies, standards and procedures established by ADB.

Bidding is open to all firms and only bidders meeting the following requirements will be considered:

1. Have the nationality of eligible country in accordance with List of ADB Eligible Member Countries. A Bidder will be deemed to have the nationality of a Member Country if he/she is a citizen, or is constituted, or incorporated, and operates in conformity with the provisions of the laws of that country;
2. Have an independent legal existence as a valid firm in the Philippines for at least five (5) years;
3. Have successfully completed 2 projects involving Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of UVC Air-Borne Disinfection System for Air Handling Units;
4. Have a sound financial position i.e. positive net worth for the past two (2) years (2018 to 2019);
5. Have not been sanctioned nor be ineligible to enter into transactions with ADB or any other multilateral development bank or institution; and
6. Past performance at ADB (if applicable) will be taken into consideration as part of the bid evaluation.

Bids should be received before the deadline indicated in the sourcing event.

ADB reserves the right to accept any application, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder or Bidders of the grounds for ADB’s action. This Invitation to Bid does not entail any commitment on the part of ADB either financial or otherwise. Any cost in the preparation of bid shall be borne exclusively by the Bidder.
