Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of Andhra Pradesh through the Government of India (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Visakhapatnam Chennai Industrial Corridor Development Program – Tranche 2. Part of this financing will be used for payments for the contract Named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Vijayawada (‘the Employer”) invites on-line sealead Bids for the work package as detailed below.
- Development of major infrastructure and utilities in Start-up area of Chittoor Node, South cluster, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
The work consist pf construction of 2/4 lane internal roads, storm water drains, water supply (distribution network, overhead storage reservoirs and Water treatment plant (WTP) etc.), recycle water system, wastewater conveyance system, power supply and distribution network including 33/11 kV substation, street lighting, Ready Built Factory Spaces (pre-engineered building 18720 sqm., and Flatted factory building (5899 sqm) Office and Welfare Services Centre (2434 sqm.) with Green Areas and green belt development and operation and maintenance of WTP. Environment and Social management aspects also form a component of the contract.
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
