    Item Description:

    The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

    ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

    Invitation for Bids

    The Government of Andhra Pradesh through the Government of India (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has applied for financing from the ADB towards the cost of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor Development Program – Tranche 2. Part of this financing will be used for payments for the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

    The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Vijayawada (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids for the following works: Development of major infrastructure and utilities in Start-up area of Nakkapalli cluster , Vishakhapatnam District , Andhra Pradesh, India (Roads, Storm water drains, Water Supply( Bulk water and Distribution ), Effluent Conveyance system Power distribution network, Street lighting, Ready Built Factory space, Office and Welfare center, Entry/exit arch , Green area and Greenbelt development ,Operation Service of Water Treatment Plant including Environmental Monitoring during construction phase.

    The works consist of construction of 2/4 lane internal roads, storm water drains, water supply (bulk water supply, summer storage tank , distribution network, overhead storage reservoirs and WTP), effluent conveyance system, power supply and distribution network including 33/11 kV substations, street lighting, ready built factory spaces (flatted factory 5,900 sqm.) office and welfare Services Centre (1,450 sq. m), entry/exit arch, green area and greenbelt development and operation and maintenance of water treatment plant. Environmental and Social management aspects also form a component of the project.

    International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
