Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has applied for financing from the ADB towards the cost of Tripura Power Generation Upgradation & Distribution Reliability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd (TSECL the “Employer”) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for Distribution System Improvement: Turnkey contract for Supply & Construction of New / Augmentation of 33KV /11KV / LT lines in Tripura -Package III, electrical circle wise in three (3) lots on turnkey basis.
The detailed scope of work for the above lots is defined in their respective Bidding Document.
Note: The procurement is grouped in three (3) lots being bid out as Package 3- Lot 1, Package 3-Lot 2 and Package 3-Lot 3. The Employer will evaluate and compare bids on the basis of a contract, or a combination of contracts, or as a total of contracts to arrive at the least cost combination for the Employer by taking into account discounts offered by Bidders in case of award of multiple contracts.
Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
