Electromechanical Equipment works for both dams Bin El Ouidane & Ait Ouarda

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published inProcurement Opportunities on EBRD website (http://www.ebrd.com) on 15 May 2015.

The ONEE-BE, (“the Employer”) has received a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) to finance ONEE Hydro Rehabilitation Project.

The ONEE-BE launches this Tender No. SP4106964 for selecting a Contractor for the realization of Electromechanical Equipment works for both dams Bin El Ouidane & Ait Ouarda.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

LOT 2 ELECTROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT WORKS OF BIN EL OUIDANE & AIT OUARDA DAMS

The overall period of completion of the work (including study, supply, installation and commissioning) has been estimated to eighteen (18) months. However, the tenderers are required to provide in their technical offers the details of the overall estimated time for completion.

This invitation to tender concerns the hydro-mechanical and electrical works of the two dams Bin El Ouidane and Ait Ouarda consisting of the following:

BIN EL OUIDANE dam

The rehabilitation works concern the following equipment:

• Bottom drain
• Flood evacuator
• Sump pump
• Alarm siren
• Lighting
• Electric control
• Power supply
• Layout and adaptations of the two MV / LV transformer stations and the MV aerial connection.

AIT OUARDA dam

The rehabilitation works concern the following equipment:

• Bottom drain
• Flood evacuator
• Afourer outlet valve
• Alarm siren
• Rake cleaning machine
• Gantry and cofferdams
• Lighting
• Electric control
• Power supply
• Layout and adaptations of the two MV / LV transformer stations and the MV aerial connection.

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from all countries. The proceeds of the Bank’s loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

Upon request, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier, but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery.

All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of MAD 1 000 000 (one million Moroccan Dirham) as specified in the Tender Documents. The proposals shall be formulated in accordance with the requirements set out in Tender No. SP4106964 and must be delivered to the address below on or before25/03/2020 09:00 hrs (local time) at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who wish to attend.
