Establishment of Long Term Agreement (LTA) / Contract for the Provision of Motor Vehicle Engineering Services and Major Component Repair / Overhauling on UNIFIL Vehicles and Equipment UNIFIL, Transport Section, Lebanon)

UNIFIL has a requirement for the Establishment of a Long Term Agreement (LTA)/ Contract for the Provision of Motor Vehicle Engineering Services and Major Component Repair/ Overhauling on UNIFIL Vehicles and Equipment for an intial period of two (2) years with possible extension for an additonal one (1) year period. In this regards, the vendor shall supply and deliver the below listed items/services based on Delivery Terms Delivery At Place (DAP) UNIFIL HQ Naqoura (Incoterms 2010). Specifications and other related technical details and required quantity will be provided upon the issuance of the bidding exercise in the solicitation documentation.

In this regards, the successful Contractor shall ensure the following services:

1- Ensure Motor Vehicle Engineering Services and Major Component Repair/ Overhauling on UNIFIL Vehicles and Equipment.
2- Provide all necessary tools, specialize equipment and original spare parts , materials, consumables and supplies to ensure the fulfillment of the obligations.
3- Provide competent personnel ( supervisor, staff )to effectively perform the services of this requirements (including Skimming, Grinding, Inserting, Straightening, Removing, Welding and other related Vehicle services).
4- Provide a secure holding area to carry out the repair services and to provide secured storage facilities to UNIFIL components under repair.
5- Ensure that the repair/fabricating work is completed within 14 days from receipt of the component.
6- Inspecting all vehicles , make a diagnostic check to verify the faulty component and the extent of repair . 7- Ensure location of workshop must be located within a 20km radius of the center of Beirut, Saida and Tyr, Lebanon, including Workshop facilities( Workshop size must be minimum 100 sqm2, Proper lighting and ventilation, Safety equipment available).
8- Other tasks to be detailed in the Scope of Work

B. For this purpose, UNIFIL will undertake a competitive bidding exercise in the future and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement.
