Item Description:
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the “Global Fund”) invites all potential suppliers (the “Bidders”) to submit proposals for the above-captioned Request for Proposal (RFP).
This RFP is comprised of the following sections and attachments:
- Section 1: Terms of Reference
- Section 2: Proposal Requirements and Evaluation
- Section 3: Proposal Submission
- Section 4: Legal Matters
- Annex 1: Certificate of Conformance
- Annex 2: The Global Fund Terms and Conditions of Purchase of Services (“Terms and Conditions”)
- Attachment A: Cost proposal template
Introduction
The Global Fund is in the process of implementing its Product Hub on Oracle Fusion technology (Product Data Hub – PDH) and wishes to receive master data from a GDSN compatible Data Pool from some of the manufacturers with which it operates.
Scope/ Objective
The Global Fund wishes to interface its Product Hub to a GDSN Data Pool so as to receive master data uploaded to the data pool by manufacturers it operates with. It is looking for a service provider to help design and build this interface and provide access services to a GDSN-compatible data pool.
Tasks
- Advise on the best integration strategy between the Data Pool and PDH in alignment with Global Fund standards and Architecture
- Execute the mapping of relevant PDH item attributes to the GDSN standard codes
- Develop interfaces from the Data Pool to the PDH in collaboration with Global Fund IT teams
- Train Global Fund staff to use Data Pool Services
- Document and ensure the knowledge transfer to Global Fund IT teams for this interface
- Provide access to Data Pool
- Provide associated support services
- Advise on how to share relevant data with implementing programs
The Service Provider must be a GS1 certified data pool.
