IFB – Kenya – Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Six (6) No Advance Life Support Ambulances and Equipment to Post Crush Care Centre; Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Six No Advance Life Support Ambulances

Item Description:

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the above project that appeared in the United Nations Development Business Online (UNDB online) No AfDB 380 – 04/16 dated 18th April 2016, the African Development Bank internet website (www.afdb.org) on 19th April 2016 and the Kenya Local Daily Newspapers on 22nd April 2016.

2. The Government of the Republic of Kenya has obtained financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of rehabilitation of Isebania – Kisii – Ahero A1 Road. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan be applied to make eligible payments under the contract for Sirari Corridor Accessibility and Road Safety Improvement Project (SCARSIP): Isebania – Kisii – Ahero (A1) Road Project.

3. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) now invites sealed bids through Open Competitive Bidding (OCB) from eligible bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Six (6) No Advance Life Support Ambulances and Equipment to Post Crush Care Centre; Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Six (6) No Advance Life Support Ambulances.

Sealed Bids marked with the Tender Reference Name and Number shall be addressed and delivered to the Address below or deposited at the Authority’s Tender Box Located at Mezzanine Floor, Blue shield Towers so at to be received not later than 11:00 Hrs local time on Friday, 27th January, 2017.

Opening of the Bids will take place immediately thereafter at the KeNHA Boardroom, 3rd Floor Blue Shield Towers in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at 11:00 Hrs East African Time on Friday 27th January, 2017 at the offices of:
