Installation of wholesale meters at 500kV, 220kV, 110kV, and 35kV levels

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Wholesale Metering and Transmission Reinforcement Project. Part of this of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Joint Stockholding Company “Barqi Tojik” (‘the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Installation of 448 wholesale meters at 500kV, 220kV, 110kV, and 35kV levels including Current Transformers, Voltage Transformers, meter cabinets and communication equipment in substations (“the Facilities”). The Facilities under this turnkey contract shall have to be completed within 480 days from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
