Invitation to Bid for Service Providers of Administrative and General Services Staff

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The ADB headquarters in Manila, Philippines, and with the Resident Mission (Pakistan Resident Mission) located in Islamabad, wishes to receive bids (hereinafter referred to as “Bid”) from eligible bidders (hereinafter referred to as “Bidders” collectively, and the Bidder finally selected by ADB shall be referred to as the “Service Provider”).

The Service Provider shall provide ADB with the most reliable and efficient services through fully trained personnel and equipment at PRM premises in Islamabad, strictly in accordance with requirements set out in the Bid documents. The Service Provider will provide Administrative and General Services Staff comprising of Admin, IT and Reception Assistants, Photocopier Operator, Drivers, Kitchen Attendants and Janitorial Staff at the ADB PRM’s premises. Work requirements, standards and procedures for the services to be rendered at the premises, shall be according to the established standards of ADB. The Service Provider shall have their office in Pakistan, preferably in Islamabad.

Sealed bid should reach ADB Pakistan Resident Mission not later than 1200 hours on 26 March 2019 clearly mentioning reference number and following details:

ADB reserves the right to accept or reject, any Bid, to annul bidding process and reject all Bids at any time prior to award of Contract, without thereby incurring any liability towards the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder or Bidders of the grounds for ADB’s action.

The invitation does not entail any commitment on the part of ADB, either financial or otherwise. Any cost of preparation of Bid shall be borne solely by the Bidder.

A pre-bid meeting will take place at 1100 hours in the meeting room of PRM on 7 March 2019. To attend the pre-bid meeting, all interested bidders will send an email request on or before 6 March 2019 to adbprm@adb.org.
