Item Description:
The World Health Organization (WHO) invites vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for developing a modern platform comprising interfaces to enhance the existing collection, verification and dissemination of mortality data which address the following objectives:
- Develop a portal for data providers allowing countries and regions to upload and review their cause-of-death data
- Develop a portal for administrator providing supervision and communication tool with the data providers.
- Migrate the existing database and setup a database structure able to manage exponential volume of records
- Implement several tools allowing back office staff to access and manipulate mortality data on a secure and smooth way
- Implement a solution allowing administrator to modify file decoding logic
- Ensure acceptable performances by providing strong and consistent software/database architecture
- Contribute to writing and review technical documents
- Support the newly developed platform by providing documentation and user training
WHO intends to invite selected vendors to participate in a formal solicitation, via a Request for Proposals (RFP), at a later stage, for the above requirements. Complete details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents.
