Procurement of Design and Construction of Buildings and Infrastructure Facilities for Faculty of Computing and Technology – University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Science and Technology Human Resource Development (STHRD) Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Chairman, Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC) on behalf of the Project Director, Science and Technology Human Resource Development (STHRD) Project (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Design and Construction of Buildings and Infrastructure Facilities for Faculty of Computing and Technology – University of Kelaniya (“the Works”). This procurement comprises design and construction of various learning spaces including lecture rooms, state-of-the-art laboratories and collaborative study areas as well as administrative facilities totalling to approximately 28,000 m2.

Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
