Construction and installation of the 220- 110kV overhead transmission line from G17A to G21 (including section 02 110kV circuit connected to the Hoc Mon 2 110kV substation)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid Development Sector Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by the ASEAN Infrastructure Fund. The eligibility rules and procedures of ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Ho Chi Minh City Power Project Management Board on behalf of The Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) invites e-bids from eligible Bidders for Construction and installation of the 220-110kV overhead transmission line from G17A to G21 (including section 02 110kV circuit connected to the Hoc Mon 2 110kV substation) with the completion period of 240 days.

Location of Project is spread along Xuan Thoi Thuong and Xuan Thoi Son communes are located in Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Principal quantities involve:

• Construction of foundation and installation and installation of single column and 4 circuit shaped steel column (including 02 220kV circuits and 02 110kV circuits) from VT77 to VT57 with a route length of about 7.7 km
• Construction of foundations and supply and installation of single columns 110kV line 2-circuit section from VT32 to VT48 with a route length of about 1.1 km
• Supply and installation of complete grounding for the pillars
• Installation of electrical insulation, accessories and pull wires, lightning arrester, fiber optic cable.

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
