Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 280km 400kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line from Nyakanazi to Kigoma

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the North West Grid 400kV Nyakanazi-Kigoma Transmission Line, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 280km 400kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line from Nyakanazi to Kigoma.

The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 280km 400kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line from Nyakanazi to Kigoma. Construction period will be Twenty-Four (24) Months.
