Procurement of Equipment for Implementation of Pre- vocational and Vocational Programme (PVIP) for five Trades (ICT, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanics, and Welding)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Secondary Education Sector Investment Program (SESIP), Tranche 2, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan for payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by ADB and the Government of Bangladesh. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE, the “Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of PVIP Equipment (the “Goods”) under the program. Goods are to be delivered to each designated institution (School/School & College/Madrasha) in districts/upazillas/unions as per the list annexed in the Bidding Documents
