Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Water Resources Management in the Pyanj River Basin Project (Additional Financing), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The State Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee of Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Hydromet Monitoring Equipment and Installation e.g., river gauges and weather stations (“the Goods”).
The goods shall be supplied and installed within 180 (one hundred and eighty) days after the signing of the contract.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
