Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Uzbekistan has received a loan from the ADB toward the cost of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridor 2 Karakalpakstan Road (A380 Kungrad to Daut- Ata Section) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Committee for Roads invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Design, Supply and Installation of Weigh in Motion (WIM) system at three (3) designated locations with three (3) sets of High-speed (HSWIM) and two (2) sets of Slow-speed (SSWIM) facilities, as well as integration of the Facilities to the existing traffic control centers.
Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
