    Item Description:

    The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

    Invitation for Bids [IFB]

    The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Road Sector Support Project 4 (RSSP IV), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) for Uganda Road Fund.

    Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) now invites sealed Bids from Bidders for Procurement of Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) for Uganda Road Fund.

    Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), (OCBI) in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods” dated May 2008 Edition – Revised July 2012 and is open to all bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

    Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address given below and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. during working days from Mondays to Fridays. the address given below.

    The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be registering the payment on the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) website portal. Print the payment advice Form after registering on the URA Portal and effect payment through the URA collection Banks.

    Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 4 May 2021 at 11.00am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 4 May 2021 at 11.30am.

    All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of UGX 20,000,000 (Twenty Million Uganda Shillings)
