Procurement of IPC Equipment for Referral Hospitals

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Greater Mekong Subregion Health Security Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ministry of Health (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of IPC Equipment for Referral Hospitals with the following details:

• Lot-1: Sterilization Autoclave for Referral Hospitals
• Lot-2: Washing Machine for Referral Hospitals

Bidder may submit bids for one lot or both lots. If a Bidder submits successful bids for both lots (lowest evaluated substantially responsive bids), the evaluation will also include an assessment of the Bidder’s capacity to meet the aggregated qualifying requirements relating to size of operation (average annual turnover) and cash flow capacity.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
