Procurement of Machines for Railway Maintenance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of CAREC Corridor 2 (Pap-Namangan-Andijan) Railway Electrification Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Joint-Stock Company “O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari” (the “Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Machines for Railway Maintenance comprising two (2) packages (the “Goods”):

(i) Lot 1: Track Leveling, Tamping and Lining Machine (2 units)
(ii) Lot 2: Railway Car / Railway Motor Car for Contact System Maintenance (1 unit)

Bidders may bid for one or both lots, as defined in the bidding document.
