Procurement of Plant, Design, Supply, and Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 12 KM 220kV Transmission Line and Switchyard for Interconnection of Mazar IPP in Mazar-e-Sharif to existing Grid

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Energy Supply Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 1. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to eligible bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The National Procurement Authority on behalf of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, and Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 12 KM 220kV Transmission Line and Switchyard for Interconnection of Mazar IPP in Mazar-e-Sharif to existing Grid. The Contractor will be responsible for each activity required to complete the facilities such as design, manufacture, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, and required civil and electromechanical works portions. The completion period is 365 days.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
