Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids – Rebidding
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Second City Region Development Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible countries described in the Bidding Document.
The Local Government Engineering Department, District: Narayanganj (“the Employer”) invites bids (e-Tenders) from eligible Bidders for the following Works (“the Works”):
i) Improvement of road from Porshi GC – Murapara GC via Rupganj Road (Ch. 3000 – 14270m) (Road ID # 367682001, 367682011) including 4375m link road (Road ID # 367682002);
ii) Construction of 4 Nos. U-Drain (0.625m x 0.600m) on the road (Road ID # 367682001) and 4 Nos. U-Drain (0.625m x 0.600m) on the link road (Road ID # 367682002);
iii) Construction of 1 no. Box Culvert (2×5.00mx5.00m) at Ch.7715m on the road (Road ID # 367682001) and 1 no. Box Culvert (2×5.00mx5.00m) at Ch.4275m on the link road (Road ID # 367682002);
iv) Construction of 12.00m RCC Girder Bridge at Ch.550m on the link road (Road ID # 367682002);
v) Construction of drain from Porshi GC – Murapara GC via Rupganj Road (Ch.3000 – 3800m) & (Ch.8300 – 8750m) (Road ID # 367682001, 367682011) including link drain 775m (Road ID # 367682002).
National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e- GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.
