Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Request for Proposal (RFP)

UNICEF wishes to invite you to submit an offer for the above tender. Pleas send attached for your reference the Request for Proposal RFPS-NYH-2021-503299.

The RFPS document is comprised of the following:

• RFPS-NYH-2021-503390 including Annex A – The UNICEF General Terms and Conditions of Contract (Services)
• The full Terms of Reference/Statement of Work attached at Annex B
• The Financial Proposal Template attached as Annex C (to be completed by the Proposer).
• Vendor Master Registration Template attached as Annex D (to be completed by the Proposer).

Important Information:

1. The proposals must be submitted to the following email address: nysdbidding@unicef.org with subject line as per RFPS-NYH-2021-503390
2. he proposals must be submitted o he following email address: nysbidding@unicef.og subject line FPS-NYH-2021-503390. Do not send general queries to his email.

Propose may send as many e-mails as needed. However, he size of each email (including the attachments) should not exceed ten (10) megabytes. As an email can take some time to arrive after it sent, we advise all Proposers to send email submissions well before the deadline. Please be aware that proposals emailed to UNICEF will be rejected if they are received after the deadline for bid submission.
