Item Description:
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is responsible for issues that concern information and communication technologies. It is the oldest among all the 15 specialised agencies of UN.
The ITU coordinates the shared global use of the radio spectrum, promotes international cooperation in assigning satellite orbits, works to improve telecommunication infrastructure in the developing world, and assists in the development and coordination of worldwide technical standards. The ITU is active in areas including broadband Internet, latest-generation wireless technologies, aeronautical and maritime navigation, radio astronomy, satellite-based meteorology, convergence in fixed-mobile phone, Internet access, data, voice, TV broadcasting, and next-generation networks. The agency also organizes worldwide and regional exhibitions and forums, such as ITU Telecom World, bringing together representatives of government and the telecommunications and ICT industry to exchange ideas, knowledge and technology.
Request for Quotation
The ITU issues the present Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) to appoint a company responsible for the Provision of Desktop PC – IPv6 and IoT to Malaysia.
For more information about the specific Goods to be provided, please see the Terms of Reference (Annex 1) to this Request for Quotation.
Any purchase order resulting from this RFQ shall contain the ITU General Terms and Conditions of for the Provision of Services and Goods (Annex 3).

Bidders requiring any clarification about the Request for Quotation document, or the tender process itself, shall submit their queries in writing by email to enoy.sanchez@itu.int with cc. to Proc@itu.int no than Tuesday 11 August 2020 at 15:00 hours (Geneva Time).
RFQ closing date
Quotations shall be submitted by email to enoy.sanchez@itu.int with cc. Proc@itu.intto no later than Friday, 21 August 2020 at 15:00 hours (Geneva Time).
RFQ amendment(s)
ITU reserves fully the right for any reason and whether at its own initiative or in response to a request for clarification to amend this RFQ prior to closing date.
