Provision of Event Organisation Services for European Institute for Gender Equality

Item Description:

The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), the regulatory agency of the European Union, (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the framework service contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the publication on Internet, the invitation letter, the draft framework service contract and tender specifications with their annexes. All documents are enclosed in the attached ZIP File.

EIGE launches this call for tender with the objective to conclude a single Framework service contract (FWC) for the provision of professional event organisation services for EIGE (such as experts working group meetings/workshops, management board meetings, experts’ forum meetings, meetings with journalists, press briefings, conferences, country visits to the EU Member states, information/open days, information visits, team-building events, etc.).

This invitation to tender is in no way binding on the contracting authority. The contracting authority’s contractual obligation commences only upon signature of the framework service contract(s) with the successful tenderer(s).

Up to the point of signature1 the contracting authority may cancel the procurement procedure without the candidates ortenderers being entitled to claim any compensation. This decision must be substantiated and the candidates ortenderers notified.

The period of validity of the tender, during which tenderers may not modify the terms of their tenders in any respect, is indicated in Heading IV.2.6 of the contract notice.

Submission of a tender implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions set out in this invitation, in the tender specification and in the draft contract and, where appropriate, waiver of the tenderer’s own general or specific terms and conditions. Submission of a tender is binding on the tenderer to whom the framework service contract(s) is awarded for the duration of the framework service contract(s).
