Provision of Field Medical Assistance Kits to the United Nations

The United Nations is seeking expressions of interest with the purpose of establishing a systems contract for an initial period of three years; and at the sole discretion of the UN, two optional additional periods of one year each for the provision of field medical assistance kits to conduct medical training in Entebbe, Uganda. Potential exists for training in other parts of Africa. The training will be conducted under the UN’s Triangular Partnership Programme for Rapid Deployment of Enabling Capabilities of the Department of Operational Support.

A field medical assistance kit consists of a rugged, weatherproof – 45-70 litre modular lightweight load- carrying equipment (MOLLE) style backpack and medical supplies pre-assembled for rapid access for use under field conditions. The medical supplies must be contained in or securely attached to the backpack for transportation, storage and use.

The detailed scope of requirement will be provided in the solicitation document, which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the solicitation.
