Provision of Multimedia and Audio-Visual Services for the European Environment Agency (EEA)

Item Description:

The European Environment Agency (EEA) is planning to award the public contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes.

The EEA seeks to establish a framework service contract with a service provider in the area of multimedia and audio-visual services. An important element of the EEA’s mandate is to make the environmental information it produces known, available and easily understandable to potential users. Communication is an integral part of the EEA’s efforts undertaken to fulfil its mandate:— to help the community and member countries make informed decisions about improving the environment, integrating environmental considerations into economic policies and moving towards sustainability, and— to coordinate the European environment information and observation network (Eionet).The future contractor will be involved in planning and production of new audio-visual communication material, and will be expected to give creative input and advice and propose alternative product types, technical solutions and dissemination alternatives.
