Item Description:
The European Union Agency for Asylum (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.
EUAA has its seat in Valletta Harbour, Malta and operational offices currently in Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Spain. In the last years EUAA has been expanding the technical and operational assistance in the mentioned countries as well as various European Union (EU) and non-EU countries, which requires expanding its office space and/or acquiring new buildings as well as the need for a variety of furniture items. As a result, EUAA requires to have furniture supplied for the new offices/buildings and field operations, and where needed, the replacement of old furniture in the current offices. Therefore, EUAA is looking to supply the office, kitchen and outdoor furniture for its offices, field locations and other locations/countries that need EUAA assistance in the EU, outside the EU and outside Europe.
Overall objective
The overall objective of this framework contract is to ensure the supply of office, kitchen and outdoor furniture for EUAA needs, if and when needed, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment in the office buildings and in the field locations, promoting health and wellbeing of the occupants.
Purpose
EUAA wishes to contract an experienced supplier for the provision of office, kitchen and outdoor furniture which shall be delivered according to the EUAA needs, predominantly in countries where operational offices are located, however across Europe or outside Europe if need be. The minimum range of items to be delivered, with its minimum technical specifications, is defined below in the point 2.3 of the Technical specifications.
