Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Invitation to Bid

UNICEF Lebanon would like to invite you for bid number (LITB-2019- 9154337) for the provision of  pipes and its accesories.

Offers should be sent to the following secured email ONLY: “lebtender@unicef.org”. Subject line of the email must indicate: ITB number and name of your company.

IMPORTANT – ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Offers must be received by latest 12:00 hours (Beirut time) on 03.12.2019 and will be opened at 12:30 hours (Beirut time) on 03.12.2019. Offers received after the stipulated date and time or sent to another email address will be invalidated.

NB: All requests for formal clarifications or queries on this ITB must be submitted in writing to the following emails: (arimlawi@unicef.org;sselwan@unicef.org) by latest 26.11.2019. please make sure that the email mentions the ITB reference number (LITB-2019- 9154337).

A pre-bid meeting will take place on Monday 25 November 2019 at 10:30 am ( Lebanon time) link of the webinar is attached to the word documents.

Kindly note that the delivery time is an important criteria for awarding the contract.

It will be a public bid opening suppliers who wish to attend are most welcome on 03.12.2019 at 12:30 pm.
