Service Provider for Financial Services

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental humanitarian organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.

In the framework of the IOM Programs implemented in Afghanistan, IOM now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified Financial Service Providers for cash out services in the below mention IOM Transit Centers:

1. Torkham Transit Centre: Mohmandara District, Jalalabad-Turkham Highway 4 km away from Turkham Township, near Turkham Tool plaza, Nangarhar Province.
2. Kandahar Transit Centre: Spin Boldak Highway, Rahmat Mina, Showrandam area, PD 05 Kandahar City, near the UNAMA Compound, Kandahar City.
3. Herat Transit Centre: Sarak-e-khaja Abdullah Ansar, north of the Department of Women’s Affairs, on the right hand toward Khaja Abdullah Ansari cemetery, Herat City, Herat Province.
4. Nimroz Transit Centre: Abu Daud Sajastani Street No2, behind the Telecommunication Directorate, Zaranj City, Nimroz Province.

Expression of Interest shall contain the required information and documents on the following a.) range of relevant services offered, b.) qualification and experience to provide financial services and specifically cash out services of relevant professionals and technical personnel currently maintained c.) track record and experience of the firm in similar assignment including list of major clients served and d.) other required information and documents as below:

• Core business and years of experience in Afghanistan
• Valid license and registration at the DA Afghanistan Bank to be provided
• Technical and managerial organigram/structure of the firm with brief job description.
• Updated Financial Bank Statement by the name of Service Provider to be provided.
• References from previous clients for similar assignment.

The provided information and documents must be sufficient for IOM to evaluate the Service provider’s capability and eligibility to participate in the bidding.

International Service Providers who are willing to participate at the mentioned process must fulfil the requirement under this EOI and the international company must be based and have active office in Afghanistan.

The expression of interest shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and should be received by hand to IOM with office address at House No. 27, Street 4, Ansari Square, Shahr-e-Naw, Kabul, Afghanistan no later than 14th March 2019 before 16:00 hrs Kabul time.

On the basis of the above information, IOM shall draw up the shortlist of Service Providers and those shortlisted Service Providers will be invited to submit technical and financial proposals.

IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any Expression of Interest, and to annul the selection process and reject all Expression of Interests at any time, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected companies/Service Providers.

Note: Expression of Interest shall be in English Language and no electronic submission of EOI will be accepted.
