Provision of Services Supporting the Operation and Evolution of the Copernicus Reference Data Access Node

Item Description:

The European Environment Agency (EEA), referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File

Purpose

The framework service contract resulting from this call for tenders will focus on five areas in relation to CORDA:

• operation and maintenance (20 %);
• content management (50 %);
• user support (10 %);
• development activities (10 %);
• project management (10 %).

The presumed distribution of effort is indicated in brackets as a guideline. In particular, it should be noted that only limited development activities are foreseen. CORDA’s level of functionality and operational maturity is considered appropriate and is already meeting the basic needs of the Copernicus land monitoring and emergency management services. Focus will therefore be on continuation of operational activities, the data content management, and interactions and dialogue with users.
