The Universal Postal Union (UPU), an intergovernmental organization and specialized agency of the United Nations based in Berne, Switzerland, is inviting bids to procure the services of a social service provider in order to offer social assistance to UPU staff in a similar fashion to other organizations in the United Nations common system.
Purpose
The purpose of this CFT is to secure the services of a social service provider for UPU staff.
Scope
The scope of this service is as follows:
- Improve staff well-being and the work environment in general;
- Provide individual consultations, and assistance in alleviating stressful situations;
- Improve managers’ responses to personal problems experienced by members of staff;
- Bring any major problems to management’s attention with a view to promoting healthy behaviour in the workplace.
